Finding Your Passion and Purpose

Hey Friends!  Happy New Year!  So I guess it's time to get back into the groove of things.  I've spent the past few days reminiscing, making our 2012 Memory Jar (photos to come), and setting goals for the new year.  Have you written down your dreams for 2013 yet?  Maybe you want to set your sites on something great this year, or maybe you're still struggling to figure out what it is you want to peruse.  We all go through that season of not knowing how we want to contribute to this world.  Some people stay in that season longer than others and it can be a discouraging place.  However, I am confident that God has an amazing purpose and plan for all of us and He wants to reveal it to you.

My good friend, B, has made a goal this year to figure out what it is she is called to.  Right now B works as a commercial lender in a bank.  Although the job has provided financially, it hasn't quite provided that passion B would like to have for her career.  When B shared her goal with me, I asked how she planned to tackle the sometimes intimidating task of nailing down a dream.

Amongst other things, B mentioned an article that she saw in "O" magazine.  If you've ever seen an Oprah episode, you know that Oprah is a big believer in finding your "sweet spot."  I asked B if she could send me the article because I thought some of you may also be working towards discovering your  divine calling.  

The article mentions 4 steps to finding a career you love. They are:
