We have been working a little bit on the bathroom. It needs a ton of work, but I thought one of the most important things to do was to get a door up! Perviously we just had a curtain separating the bathroom from our open living space. Not much privacy there.

I have always loved the sliding barn style doors and I thought this was the perfect spot to install one. I love the farmhouse style ones made with wood, but I also really like the metal industrial ones found in old warehouses. Either style would have been perfectly wonderful for me, so I went about trying to find something that would something that work that was also within my budget. What I found is something that I feel does much more than just work!

The rustic, industrial feel of this aged bronze door really adds to our space! It's not just a door, it's a piece that I look at and really love. What do you think!?

If you're as in love as I am, make sure you come back on Friday because I plan to reveal my source for this stunning industrial door. . . and word is they have some more doors available! :)
PS- If you're planning on making an ARDEX Feather Finish video, the NorthEast region has 2 days to submit your video!! Get on it! :) Submit your video here!
I love everything about it!! How did you hang it? Can you please do a post on how it is hung? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! Are there stairs to get up there?

I love the door, that is such a cool look.
ReplyDeleteKara, that is just so cool! If I ever build a house I want some sort of sliding door like that! Wish I could incorporate one here but it just isn't possible. Your space is looking awesome!
ReplyDeleteKara- Where did you get the hardware...I'm finding that is more expensive than the door itself!
ReplyDeleteThanks for providing your company information. Glass sliding doors are pretty good as well. I have also used their services.
