You may remember that I asked for guest bloggers a few weeks ago and luckily, I had a couple of takers! One of those lovely people was Andrea from Ever After Blueprint! When I saw her awesome kitchen cabinet makeover, I knew you guys would be interested in it as well. What I love most about Andrea's solution is that it's not permanent, but could be easily and cheaply changed whenever she gets that re-decorating bug! So, without further ado, here's Andrea!!!
When we first moved into our house the kitchen cabinets, were the first thing I said we’d paint. A year later, they were still the same puce green and the thought of painting them all is daunting.
I found this lovely daisy wrapping paper at Paper Source when we were in Kansas City a few weekends ago.
Paper Source is one of those stores that Adam goes into with me because he loves me, kind of like how I’ll go into Best Buy or the Apple store with him. So when I asked him what he would think of putting it on the cabinets. I was shocked when he said we should try it and wondered if he didn’t just want to get out of the store!
Two rolls only set us back $16, and I figured if we hated the paper once it was up we could take it down and use the paper for gifts.
I measured the inside of all the upper cabinet doors and cut the paper to fit. I used double-sided tape to hold the paper up. It’s not perfect, don’t look too close or you’ll see where it doesn’t fit exactly, but who cares? The cabinets are 100 times better than they were and even Adam (my hubby) says he likes it!
Maybe we’ll change our mind in a few months and take it down, and maybe one day we’ll repaint, but for now, we love them! Not bad for under $30 and a couple hours!
Isn't that such a drastic and fun change for such a little time and money investment!? Thanks Andrea for sharing your creative idea!

What a great idea! So inexpensive and the result is super cute. Thanks for sharing!
