Ida Red is in a constant state of change. Over the past year, I have worked to improve the appearance and shop-ability of this store. The jewelry area is one of the things that I completed months ago. After the holiday season, the owner asked if we could relocate the jewelry because a there seemed to be a lot of theft going on. She wanted to move the jewelry closer to the checkout counter. So before I started my new job, I made it happen. The area went from looking like this. . .
to looking like this.
The new set-up creates a great space to hang the plethora of unique t-shirts Ida Red offers. It also offers a nice open area to keep things from feeling to cluttered.
A comfy chair off to the side offers a place for all those weary husbands to take a break from the shopping shenanigans. I made a "foot rest" by attaching some old coke crates together.
Instead of holding scarves (like it did during the winter months) the old ladders now provide a display space for belts.
Of course, I had to use the piano that was stuck in the corner for display purposes. This store is correlated with Cain's Ballroom, so music is to be celebrated!

LOVE the new arrangement!! Makes me think about my closet at home and I could better use the space.
