The back of the display shelves boasts a design that reminds me of a recipe card.
Probably the most prominent part of the display are the milk jug pendant lights. . .
There is also the cool light made from an old commercial sized whisk. It is actually for sale if you're interested.
I was responsible for a number of things, one of them being decorating the top 2 levels of shelves. Here's what I came up with!
There is definitely a whimsical feel to this area which is most prominently displayed by these wooden spoon "people." :) They are present in different areas throughout the display and happen to be a kid favorite (exemplified best when children run around the store with one in each hand giving them voices, names, and stories)! :)
Here are a few more detail shots that really make this space feel special!

This looks great! I always knew you would be prefect for that job. I have been following your blog for awhile and when they opened the Anthropologie in Utica I thought of you instantly for the window displays. Miss Jackson's has some pretty killer displays in the fall and I actually wondered if you did them :) Anyways, can't wait to see it in person!
ReplyDeleteI love those milk jug lights, and the whisk light is AMAZING! Oh I so need more places to hang pendant lights....
ReplyDeleteI think you're doing Anthro proud! It took me a little bit to figure out the milk jugs (as I just looked at the pics first, then read). That's so cool. Too bad it wouldn't have the coolness factor in a home setting. The whisk would though. I like those chairs too.
ReplyDeletelove this display, thanks for sharing (:
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing! I absolutely love the hanging whisk light and those great chairs! Great job!
ReplyDeleteYep....you are pretty much going to take Anthro by storm
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun job! You are the perfect person to do it.
